Marketing Audit

Mention the word “audit” and many tremble but in the true sense of the word it is simply ‘an evaluation of something’ to ascertain the validity and reliability of that something.

Audits to most are accounting and financial related, however, audits can be conducted on any part of a business to determine its ‘health’.

A marketing audit is an evaluation of strategies and tactics to ascertain if they are valid given a specific scenario or within a unique environment, and reliable in achieving business objectives.

Print Audit

A print audit is an evaluation of all hardcopy items – stationery, marketing and communication material [eg: brochures, flyers, business cards], invoices, etc. to ascertain where costs could be reduced.

A print audit is performed not only to improve efficiencies but also to establish if all components of the marketing effort are appropriately integrated. More simply put ascertaining that all communication components, both external and internal, are presenting the same message. The market can be easily confused and while no business aims to confuse its customers it can inadvertently happen.
